Donor eggs or sperm

Ask about available samples, screening records, receiving criteria, consent, waiting times, transport and storage. Public service descriptions do not guarantee a particular resource is available.

Third-party involvement

Medical services, third-party arrangements, legal advice and parentage documents are separate matters. Confirm who provides and charges for each service, and which documents apply to the places involved.

Before committing funds

Obtain a written scope, payment recipient, cancellation terms and the responsibilities of each participant. Keep IVF, obstetric care, birth registration and immigration arrangements separate.
